Goddess of Spring

I thought that if I made a pretty picture for the Goddess of Spring, She would be pleased and Her happiness would spread sunshine and warmth and Joy across the land...

Okay, seriously, this is the first spread for the Round Robin journal I'm participating in. This is for Janet's book "The Sacred Feminine". I'm taking Suzi Blu's "The Goddess and the Poet" class and thought I'd paint my very first Goddess for Janet. I hope you like it Janet!

  4. Ohh Lisa I love her. Of course since she has strawberry blond hair even better, except for blue eyes instead of green I imagine that is what Gracie will look like. My favorite time of year is spring, I can't paint but I can plant. Those first shoots of green coming up with so much promise that I pitched in the cold ground on a miserable Fall day... Can't wait!

I see you have used your new stuff from Blicks. A new stash of fabric or beads is just about as exciting to me as the bulbs coming up. Spring in a bag! I wonder if I can sell hubby on that instead of it being a symptom of my over indulgence...
