Wisdom... out of the mouths of babes

My daugher and I were talking about our day and snuggling together the other night. The next thing I know she's saying something that brought tears to my eyes, it was so sweet and profound. I knew I had to write this one down, to remember when she's a teenager and is driving me crazy. So I made a page in my art journal to savor it when I need a mental hug. Here it is.

  10. This is so sweet and very insightful. I just adore the way you journalled it. I don't know how old your daughter is but consider yourself lucky. I always had a great relationship with my daughter as well and now that she is 15 and fully into those adolescent years we are still very close and she still shares. I think that's because of the foundation that was started at her young age.
